In order to motivate the writing interest of students from Grade 7 and facilitate the cultural construction on campus, on the afternoon of 8th December, in the team activity class at the Lecture Hall on the first floor, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Branch Office in Grade 7 of the Du Xiu Literary Association convened a lecture on literature.
During the process, outstanding adviser Liu Yao centered her materials on the theme of ‘Plot in the Writing Instruction’. To be specific, she explained to students the writing knowledge in terms of the meaning of plots, how to observe pictures as well as how to construct the plot on the basis of a story about the harmonious relationship between a cat and a grandma.
On the whole, the one-hour seminar was characterized by Ms. Liu’s passion and sense of humor, which won laughter and lasting applause from the audiences.
In the meantime, in the 1st Session China Voice English Competence Contest in Anqing City co-hosted by Municipal Working Committee, Anqing Municipal Corporation in addition to the College of Foreign Languages in Anqing Normal University, on 19th & 20th November, 2016, the contestants from Anqing Foreign Language School showcased exceedingly marvelous performance.
First of all, Hong Bingjing and Fang Gezhi obtained the first prizes in Group Singing Category.
Second of all, Zhang Qingshan gained the top prize in the Individual Singing Group.
Last but not the least, Yu Heng, Chen Yuhao, Wang Qingsong and Wang Yueyue were first-prize winners in the Individual Speech Competition. More noticeably, the Excellent Guide Teacher Awards went to teachers Ye Jianfei, Hu Chengwen, Dong Shuping, Jiang Fan as well as Zhu Wen from Anqing Foreign Language School.
